 SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE BEGINS
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, MAY 27
Similar to last summer, a three-service worship schedule will begin May 27 and run through August 12. The schedule will continue to provide three different worship experiences: First Up, Sanctuary Worship, and The Open Door. Service times will be:
8:30 am in the Great Hall for First Up;
9:45 am in the Sanctuary, and
11 am at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater for The Open Door.
Each weekend one preacher will be preaching at all services.
This schedule provides the community and our First/Open Door fellowship with worship alternatives. It will also "fit" the summer rhythms of people.
Finally, this schedule will allow our pastoral staff to invest time and energy in the important work of resourcing our teams that are designing new small group opportunities, Sunday School classes, new member training experiences, and leadership development. Tell your friends. Spread the word.
Make sure everyone knows that 8:30, 9:45 and 11 begins on May 27! TORNADO RELIEF HELP
Our hearts and prayers go out to those affected by the tornadoes on March 2. If you would like to help monetarily, make a check to FUMC with "Tornado Relief" on the memo line. If you want to help with the clean-up, work teams are being formed. Contact Pastor Mary at mcartwright@fumcb.org if you can help – team leaders as well as team members are needed.
