Shalom Community Center
 
The Shalom Community Center is organized to be a resource center for those who are homeless, potentially homeless, and in poverty in South Central Indiana. The Center provides a safe drop-in gathering place where anyone - regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or socioeconomic background - can find hospitality and compassion.  For more information about the center and volunteer opportunities, visit the Shalom Center website at http://www.bloomington.in.us/~shalom/.
 
Habitat for Humanity

Mission Volunteer Neil Alberson
 
Neil Alberson, who retired from his Facility Manager position with FUMCB this year, is currently in Guatemala as an Individual Volunteer through the United Methodist Church mission volunteer program.  Neil will be sending updates from Guatemala as he is able.  If you would like to support Neil in his mission work, please make your check payable to FUMC, with “Alberson I.V. mission” on the memo line.
